The work borrows an almost monumental self-homage of the dictator Enver Hoxha, as a starting point for a conflictual re-dedication. Before the historical fact, which Lulaj defines as the foundations of his work, is described as a simple conceptual suggestion, it constitutes a sculptural interest in itself: a monumental sketch of the name Enver along the mountains near Berat, dictated in the 1960s by the dictator himself. Hoxha’s name, written in letters about 150 meters long, adorns the central slopes of Mount Shpirag, like a sly ornament, turning it into a grotesque display stand in the name of an endless rule. Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania, was one of those who congratulated the artist for receiving this award, while he appreciated his work.
