Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation

For many of you today is a special day, because you will see the result of your work on the big screen. But it is also so special for me, since these films that will be shown here today, are theresult of a covenant; At least for the University.

We have gathered many times in the premises of the University of Arts, to discuss forms of cooperation. Many did not believe this pact, considering it a propaganda, but the fact that we are here today shows that it is not just an agreement on paper, nor a handshake for the sake of cameras.

But a concrete help: supporting 13 works of young filmmakers, encouraging them on the path of creativity, but also giving some help modest in the cinematography industry.

For the specifics itself, the Ministry of Culture has been closer to the University of Arts and not without pride we can say that UA is the university that has benefited the most from this pact . Not only that the doors of all our institutions are open for all students who want to complete internships, diplomas, become part of the process of creating an artistic work, be it theater, opera, ballet etc.,

But in the meantime the renovated premises of the historic UA building do not need excessive comments. But this is only the beginning.

The University of Artswill have a new and dignified university campus, which will turn the entire surrounding area into an important cultural pole.

The historic building and the concert hall will be the heart of this campus, which will not only serve students and teachers, but artists and the public.

More study, performance, relaxation spaces.

Two new performance halls will be added, giving this university all the dignity it deserves, for the sake of the talents that come out of here, but also for all those generations of artists who started their journey here very young and returned as teachers, sharing their experience with the new generation.

We are living in extraordinary times and despite the obstacles, the Ministry of Culture will always support young people. Even this new reality made us reflect and review our priorities, focusing more on the future.

And the future is young people.

I really hope that this period will not leave a mark in their lives andcreativity, except for inspiring works..
